Dr. James B. Duke

Since 1991, Dr. Duke’s practice has served the residents of Central Florida and many other parts of the country. 

In 2010, he performed his 5,000th joint replacement, utilizing the newest in equipment, implants and techniques.

He maintains privileges at Ocala Regional Medical Center and at West Marion Community Hospital, where he was instrumental in designing the second floor orthopedic wing, known as the Joint Care Center, to better serve his patients.

Both hospitals are equipped with state-of-the-art technology including high-definition video equipment which allows Dr. Duke to provide you with a DVD of your arthroscopic surgery.

Dr. Duke is a proud graduate of the University of Florida in Gainesville, where he received his undergraduate and medical degrees and served his internship, residency and fellowship.

Dr. Duke’s approach to orthopedic surgery is simple: He believes in physical therapy and performs surgery only when absolutely necessary. When surgery is needed, he provides the highest level of care to help ensure a successful recovery for you.
